Find New and Used Classic Bikes for Sale at Mc Sales

Classic Bikes, Classic Motorcycle, Restoration Project Bikes for sale

These are old bikes, restored to original condition or project restoration bikes. While a classic motorcycle is older than 30 years old, they're now collectible bikes for sale and can be found in all kinds of conditions. From the Basket Case Classic Bike, the Original Low Miles Classic Bike to the Fully Restored Classic Bikes, they all attract crowds of people to admire these bikes of the past. From AJs, BSA, Bultaco, Ducati, Vincent HRD, BMW R60, Indian, Harley Iron Head, Knuckle, Shovel, Royal Enfield, Matchless, MV Augusta just to name a few rare makes, to pre 80s Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Yamaha have all become very sort after. While there are dealers who scour the world for these bikes, they can also be found in old farm sheds, Deceased Estates or the old man's shed.

In fully restored condition, they can be found in Private collections & Motorcycle Museums like the National Motorcycle Museum in Nabiac NSW, Australian Motorcycle Museum Haigslea QLD, Australian Motorlife Museum Wollongong, Peterborough Motorcycle Museum SA, Redfurns Motorcycle Museum Towragi NSW, Robert Stein Vintage Motorcycle Museum Mudgee to name a few.

A poorly restored bike that has not been rebuilt properly can often cost as much to make into a perfect classic bike as a basket case that is complete. Always be careful buying these bikes, as if the motors are not rebuilt by a professional, it just might be a hand grenade ready to drop a valve, chuck a rod or spin a bearing. Always inspect suspension components, bushings & bearings for any freeplay, & that wheels spin freely & done up tight. There's many horror stories from disappointed buyers, so beware.
